San Luis Obispo

Amanecemos con una sola idea en la cabeza, PLAYA. Nos pusimos los bañadores y hubieramos cogido las tablas de surf de haberlas tenido, en su lugar cargamos las maletas de nuevo al coche y nos fuimos en busca de la tranquilidad y el descanso de las calitas de la costa californiana. Pffeifer Beach nos ayudo a recuperarnos del agotamiento. La playa tenia arena morada debido a las roca de malaquita y unas algas del tamano de pinos. Nos pegamos un banito en el pacifico, que estaba un poco agresivo, y nos tostamos al sol. Comimos en Nepenthe, un restaurante hippie-chic con vistas a la costa y continuamos con nuestra ruta. La conduccion por la costa nos dejo unas estampas impresionantes. Paramos para ver una playa llena de leones marinos y el atardececer. Hicimos noche en un pueblecito llamado San Luis Obispo, una ciudad con vida, bonita y la mas feliz de los EEUU (segun Ophra y el National geographic).

A new dawn with just one thing in mind: BEACH. We jumped into our swimming costumes and we would have gotten our surf boards ready if we had any, instead we just quickly packed and put the luggage in our car once again. We desperatly needed a day chilling out in the beaches of South California. Pffeifer Beach helped us recovering from the tiredness of the previous days. Coming to this beach was again another tip from our informant (reinstated friend) who explained to us that the purple colour of the sand was due to the mineral malaquita contained in the rocks.
We took a swim in a rough pacific ocean and sunbathed to relax our tired muscles.  We ate in Nepenthe, a hippie-chic restaurant with views to the beach and continued with this impressive route that has given us the chance of seeing the sunset over the pacific and a beach full of sea lions that we could nearly touch. Next stop San Luis Obispo, a very lively city, pretty and the happiest city in the USA (according to Ophra and the National Geographic).
